How to Use the Percentage Calculator

Enter the partial value (X) and the total (Y) to work out the percentage of two numbers. Divides X by Y and multiplies by 100. Perfect for test score percentages, market share, or how much of a goal you've hit.

Calculate percentage increase or decrease online

Enter the original value and the new value to compute the percentage change. A positive result means an increase; negative means a decrease. The equation for percentage change is shown with every result. Useful for price changes, salary growth, or comparing any two stats.
